Eigentijdse arbeidsrelaties en voorwaarden voor werkzekerheid

In dit artikel wordt stilgestaan bij de vraag hoe arbeidsmarkt- en sociale zekerheidsbeleid vorm zou kunnen krijgen in een post-industriële samenleving. De eerste vraag die aan de orde komt is wat de kenmerken zijn van arbeidsrelaties op een post-industriële arbeidsmarkt en welke risico's die relaties met zich meebrengen voor werkgevers en werknemers. De vraag is vervolgens hoe het arbeidsmarkt- en sociale zekerheidsbeleid institutioneel vorm zou moeten worden gegeven om desondanks een efficiënt opererende arbeidsmarkt te krijgen. Deze vragen worden op een sociologische wijze geanalyseerd, dat wil zeggen dat de analyse zich richt op de binding en het vertrouwen tussen werkgever en werknemer. Het artikel wordt afgesloten met een theoretische- en beleidsmatige conclusie met betrekking tot de vormgeving van arbeidsmarkt- en sociale zekerheidsbeleid.
